Support the publication of new, innovative books!
This Pi Day, March 14, your gift to the MIT Press has greater impact: a friend of the Press has pledged $5,000 if 25 donors give to the MIT Press on that day.
About the MIT Press
The MIT Press has long played a role in the afterlife of the Bauhaus—from our extensive list of art, architecture, and design titles to our distinctive aesthetic and iconic colophon, created by pioneering graphic designer Muriel Cooper.
This year, we are joining with museums and organizations across the world to celebrate the centennial anniversary of the founding of the Bauhaus in Weimar, Germany. Distinguished by the elegant austerity of its designs, the Bauhaus is among the most influential movements in the history of 20th century art, architecture, and design.
On March 14, we invite you to help us continue this legacy and celebration with a gift to the Muriel Cooper Publication Fund. Your donation will support the publication of new works in the fields of art, design, architecture, and visual culture that are technically innovative, intellectually rigorous, and visually challenging.
With your support, the history and impact of the Bauhaus and its artists will continue to evolve at MIT and beyond.
