Accelerate career success for MIT students.
Your gift to the Undergraduate Practice Opportunities Program (UPOP) goes further on Pi Day, March 14: for each 35 donors who give to UPOP that day, challenger Richard Kremsdorf ’69 will give $7,500—up to $15,000.
One of the largest co-curricular programs at the Institute, the MIT Undergraduate Practice Opportunities Program (UPOP) seeks to coach students to think strategically about their careers. UPOP connects these students with internships, mentoring, workshops, and lectures to give them the real-world skills to make those careers a reality.
Students who participate in UPOP have the skills and confidence to thrive in the professional world and to be strong future contributors to their organizations. UPOP alumni describe the program as uniquely beneficial, and some have even suggested it should be a graduation requirement!
Support of UPOP ensures that the program can continue to offer its rich variety of engagement opportunities to MIT students, enabling them—in the words of one student—to “make a lasting impact on industry and the world.”
